Monthly Meeting
Fifty-eight RPOA members attended their general meeting on October 7. The Police Credit Unions Heather - who normally provides PCU updates - attended and sang about five songs. Police Association president, Peter Alexander, also attended and provided information on the GST, as well as other PASA issues.
Information from RPOA president, Les Morris, is that RPOA members are being sought as volunteer drivers for the Olympic Games. They will be trained and provided with a uniform. Interested members should contact Jenny Clavio at SOCOG (Adelaide) on 8233 4550.
Coming Events
Coming RPOA events include:
- A trip to Hindmarsh Island, including dinner at the Golf Club, a winery visit and a Protea Garden on January 11, 2000, for $25. Those who wish to attend should notify the secretary and provide payment by December 24.
- A mystery trip on March 23, 2000, for $25.
Both trips will depart the Police Club at 9:00am with a return time of about 5:00pm.

Sick List
The RPOA extends its sympathy to those suffering ill-health. And to those members unable to attend the next meeting, the RPOA extends warm Christmas and New Year greetings.
