The men’s fours (for the annual police bowling carnival) has very little match practice, and rarely meets and plays as a team until the carnival. The present committee of the SA Police Bowling Club intends to have those fours players chosen earlier than usual and allow them to compete against the better, local bowlers. Hence the challenge to fours from the Modbury Bowling Club on Sunday, February 27, 2000. The competitors for the local side are expected to be drawn from their “1 Red and White” sides.
