Elections

The RPOA conducted its yearly elections at last month’s meeting with 56 members present. All office holders were re-elected for another year. I congratulate the committee on this re-election. Its members are hard-working people with very good ideas.

Coming Events

Members are reminded of the RPOA police academy picnic on October 24. Those attending should advise the secretary so as to allow for appropriate catering. The November 11 dinner - which will provide members with the chance to renew acquaintances - is also fast approaching. The cost is $17.00 for a three-course meal.

Just Under the Century

As none of the RPOA members is getting any younger, many have wound up on the sick list this year. Bob Clark - who turned 93 last April - was at the July meeting, as was 92-year-old Hazel Millowick.
