Dear Peter
Please accept my resignation from the Police Association effective 27 November, 1998, due to my retirement.
I congratulate the Association for the professional service it provides to members.
I have held 17 different postings spanning almost 40 years. The many experiences and the fellowship associated with the job will remain as treasured memories.
The restructuring and future directions will be challenging, but Im sure that better opportunities to diversify and more job satisfaction will be achieved. I wish all members every success.
Bill Newman
Detective Chief Inspector, South Coast CIB
Dear Peter
Please accept my resignation from the Police Association of South Australia as my last day of service within SAPOL is 19 March 1999. After much thought, consideration and research (needless to say some sleepless nights) I am now excited about moving into my own business and giving it a go in private enterprise.
Over the past 22 years I have met many fine people within the department and I wish them well in their chosen profession. Special thanks to the people I have worked with and met while in uniform, CIB and traffic divisions.
Appreciation and thanks to you and your staff for the tireless work you have put in for the members of the force and I wish you well with your future endeavours. I trust I will see you all around Adelaide at some stage and I look forward to keeping in touch.
I leave you with this pearl of wisdom: Doing is very largely a question of trying... so here I go, my future awaits.
Kindest regards
Don Pudney

Dear Peter
My last day of service with the South Australia Police is 14 April 1999. Please accept my resignation from the Police Association effective this date.
I would like to extend my thanks to all who I have worked with over the past eight years, particularly those at Henley Beach police station (past and present), whom I will miss more than the job.
Yours sincerely
Phil McNamara

Dear Andy
I hereby tender my resignation from the Police Association effective 21 April 1999, being my last day of service with the South Australia Police. Like many others before me I have decided to enter the arena of private enterprise and will be moving to Strathalbyn to take on the role as publican of the Commercial Hotel. To all of you that I have worked with during the past 22 years all the best for the future. If you happen to be in Strathalbyn drop in and say hello.
Yours sincerely
KP (Ron) Linnane
Dear Andy

Please accept my resignation from the Police Association as of that date. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the president, you and the Association for all the hard work that has been done on behalf of all police officers over the years to gain the wages and conditions we have.
Yours sincerely
Barry M Duke
