Heart Of Darkness - Amazing Studio

Schoolboy genius Andy is in the throws of a terrible nightmare. Lured into another world by the Master of Darkness, he cannot leave until he has rescued his canine pal, Whisky.

In this kingdom, he must fight an army of hungry devils who seem to come from everywhere. Trapped in this alternate dimension, Andy must be led through hundreds of epic encounters to overcome a host of weird and wonderful characters. The quest is to emerge triumphant from the Heart of Darkness - with ever-faithful Whisky.

Heart of Darkness is a 2D platform game with much to offer, including:

An examination of some tips found within the instructions provides an example of the games possibilities. During his journey, Andy must learn to somersault, free himself from the tenacious monsters, climb rockfaces and swim through underground caverns. With many monsters, Andy must observe their behaviours to anticipate attacks.

Heart of Darkness is a good, fun game, with excellent graphics and audio. It is recommended for children from eight and is available now on PC CD-ROM and PlayStation. RRP is $79.95.

New Releases

Cricket World Cup - EA Sports

Currently in production by the leaders in sports sims is Cricket World Cup. There’s no information at present, but the screen shot will give a taste of what could be in store. PC-CD available in December. PlayStation available in February 1999.



Baja 1000 Racing - Red Orb

The next-generation 3D driving game currently under development pits man and machine against one of the most brutal courses on earth. In Baja 1000, you attempt not just to win, but also survive.

Players choose from a selection of Class 1 open-wheel buggies or super high-performance Trophy Trucks, and race up to 15 computer-controlled racers and human opponents via the Internet. PC-CD available in December.
