Meeting
Sixty-eight Retired Police Officers Association members attended
their final meeting for 2003 in Fenwick Hall last December, and were
welcomed by President Les Morris. John and Margaret Fellowes and Thelma
Harding received a special welcome, as this meeting was the first
they had attended.
With the hall set up for a Christmas party, festivities began after
the meeting. The bar was opened and a special afternoon tea held to
mark the occasion.
The RPOA trusts that all its members enjoyed the festive season and
looks forward to a happy and prosperous year in 2004.
Dinner
The RPOA annual dinner was a great success, with 108 members and
partners enjoying the evening. Rae Holloway was acknowledged with
a special thank you for the time and effort she devoted to arranging
the dinner.
Deputy Commissioner John White represented Commissioner Mal Hyde
and responded with thanks on behalf of the guests. The Police Club

those present. A delicious meal was served up in a particularly festive
atmosphere.
