Dear Andy
Please accept my resignation from the Police Association as
of June 19, 2003. I am leaving SAPOL to take up a position in the private
sector.
The past 14 years have gone so quickly and I have been very
fortunate to work in some terrific postings with some great people who will
remain life-long friends.
It is very difficult to encapsulate a career and thank
everyone in a few short lines. To the members of team 4, region B, my first
posting, thanks for providing so many laughs and so many stories to reminisce
over. The three years I spent at Surveillance were the most exciting, yet
challenging in my career. Thank you, Jimmy Mac, for your support and
encouragement during some of those challenges. Last, to Christies Beach CIB, in
particular team 3, Millhouse, Bratch and Gordgy. We did some damn good jobs and
had some damn good fun. Keep laughing guys.
To the Police Association executive, thank you for everything
you do for the members on a daily basis. While the majority of the work you do
goes unnoticed, it is still very much appreciated and needed.
I am sad at the thought of not being a copper any more, and
losing the family that comes along with it, but a wise man once said to me that
it is the things in life that you dont do that you regret. To that end,
thank you, and goodbye.
Sincerely
Rebecca Kuss
Dear Andy
Please accept my resignation from the Police Association of
South Australia due to my resignation from SAPOL, effective June 25, 2003.
Im moving over to Apollo Bay in Victoria to set up home
and hopefully work closely with the community there.
Thanks to the kick-ass bunch of people I had the pleasure to
work with at Parks, Port Adelaide and Henley over the past year. You guys made
it an unforgettable experience and I will wear my beanie with pride.
Good luck to all members and mentors of course 42, and may
your careers in SAPOL last a hell of a lot longer than mine.
Cheers

Dear Andy
I advise of my resignation from PASA effective August 6,
2003, to coincide with my retirement.
Thanks to current and previous Police Association executives
for the many improvements in pay and conditions in which I have been lucky
enough to share. We should all simply acknowledge that these advances did not
come by chance but through your vision and hard work.
No better opportunity exists for me to thank all those who
made work a joy for me. I hope the future for each of you provides what you
would want it to provide.
My academy postings have allowed me to see most of SAPOL
personnel in a training environment. Its nice to retire knowing the job
is in safe hands.
With thanks
John
