Dear Andy

Please accept my resignation from the Police Association due to my resignation from SAPOL, my last day of service being Wednesday, April 16, 2003.

I have had so much fun over the past few years, and have made some life-long friends throughout my time with SAPOL. To everyone I have worked with and near at the police academy, Christies Beach and Ceduna, I wish you all many more laughs and good times both on the job and personally. I am sad that I will no longer kit up and head out on patrol. My dream to backpack around the world becoming a reality on May 9 will make it that much easier. I’d love to stay in touch, so please fell free to send me an e-mail.

I have to say a special thank you to team 2, the office girls and sergeants at Christies Beach. I learnt so much from you all and appreciate the time and effort you so willingly gave me and every new member who eagerly begins his or her new career with you. John Pirie Patterson, I’ve spent most of my patrol hours with you as my partner. I have been fortunate enough to learn from someone with so much experience, who is still able to have so much fun on the job, be friendly when necessary, tough when needed, sympathetic when required and, when all else fails, could sell ice to the Eskimos. I can only hope my work reflected your teaching. Thank you.

A final thank you to the Police Association – I have been fortunate enough not to have personally needed your service although I am aware of many situations where colleagues and friends have benefited so much from your assistance. I will miss you all!

Dear Andy

Dear Andy

I wish to tender my resignation from the Police Association, my last day of service being April 30, 2003.

I am continuing to enjoy my time as a stay-at-home mum to my two beautiful children, Tom and Scout. I have moved to Queensland with my husband Tim whilst he is pursuing a career in the Queensland Police. I hope at some stage to enter the travel/tourism industry and what better place to do it than Queensland.

I wish to thank all the wonderful people I have worked with during my time with SAPOL, both on Holden Hill patrols (team 2) and more recently the Recruiting Section. I wish you all well in the future.

Constable 8781/8

I have resigned from SAPOL effective May 10, 2003.

Please cancel my membership from the Police Association forthwith. Thank you for all your assistance these past years.

Dear Andy

Please accept my resignation from the Police Association to coincide with my resignation from SAPOL on May 14, 2003.

Sometimes we need to let go so that we can move forward and grow.

I pass on my best wishes to everyone I have come to know in my 11 years in SAPOL, especially to the zany and the wonderful past and present members at South Coast CFIU.
Kindest regards
Therasa Hall
