Non-members of PASA will benefit from this wage increase. They
benefit because more than 99% of sworn staff remain members and contribute
financially to improving the occupation and conditions of service by collective
representation through PASA.
You dont get a pay rise because you deserve one. You
have to fight for it. Non members take advantage without contributing to the
cost of ensuring the PASA is resourced and able to be an effective voice for
members.
We soon begin negotiations for a fourth enterprise agreement.
Non-members will again ride on the back of the majority. I dont see any
non-members negotiating for a pay rise. Maybe they should have to.
