Wage increase
From the first pay week commencing on or after July 1, 2002, a 4 per cent increase in wages as per the South Australia Police Enterprise Agreement 2001 takes effect. The applicable salaries are outlined below:

They benefit because 99.2 per cent of sworn staff remain members and contribute financially to improving the occupation and conditions of service by collective representation through PASA.
One does not get a pay rise because one deserves it. One has to fight for it. Non-members take advantage without contributing to the cost of ensuring PASA is resourced and able to be an effective voice for its members.
