Non-PASA members will benefit from this wage increase also. They benefit because 99.2 per cent of sworn staff remain members and contribute financially to improving the occupation and conditions of service by collective representation through PASA.

One does not get a pay rise because one deserves it. One has to fight for it. Non-members take advantage without contributing to the cost of ensuring PASA is resourced and able to be an effective voice for its members.
