MAX PAYNE™
Format: Xbox and PS2

In this popular die-hard action game you play a NYPD cop, Max Payne, who loses his whole family in a drug-related break-in at his home.

Meanwhile, a noxious new drug, Valkyr, has spread through New York like a plague.

Max’s boss has been murdered, and Max has been framed for the slaying.

Now on the run from both cops and the mob, Max’s back is up against the wall.

With nothing to lose, he sets out on a one-man crusade to take on the drug lords.

His adventures take him into the seamy underworld of New York during the century’s worst blizzard…

This is a relentless, story-driven 3D shooter game with class, and has many plot twists and surprises.

It is challenging and intense, but has a very easy learning curve.

Its photo-realism, eerie lighting and sound effects make the gameplay incredibly realistic and give it a menacing atmosphere.

A highly praised feature pioneered by Max Payne is dodge time and bullet time modes of play, where action switches into slow motion.

This enables you to jump into a room full of thugs, then in slow motion to take them all out while dodging about in action-movie style.

Silent Hunter II
Format: PC

This is the latest simulation in the well-received Silent Hunter series.

It recreates the desperate battles of the Atlantic between Hitler’s infamous U-boat force and British and American convoys, which were the lifeblood of the Allied war effort.

Its simulation features include:
• An authentic 3D world featuring highly detailed ship and aircraft models, and weapons systems.
• Realistic modelling of the ocean environment, ship motion and weather effects.
• Superior AI to challenge even the most experienced commander.
• All major U-Boat stations realistically modelled in both form and function.
• Authentic environmental sound effects.

Silent Hunter II is considered by many to be probably the best available sub game today.

Its visuals are good, although the highest resolution mode supported is the fairly standard 800 x 600 option.

The missions are straightforward. Enemy targets appear in your periscope, rather than your having to go on patrol and actively seek them out.

Moto GP 2
Format: PS2

This new motorcycling racing simulator offers all the exhilaration and realism of the previous Moto GP.

But the new version now has twice as many tracks, all of this year’s top GP riders, faster bikes – and bigger crashes!

Based on the famous FIM Road Racing World Championship, Moto GP 2 takes gamers all over the world to the toughest tracks and sets them to compete against the most fearless riders.

Features include:
• A total of 10 real-life circuits.
• All-new changeable weather conditions.
• The ability to fine-tune your bike for optimum performance.
• Lifelike handling, acceleration and braking, which remain totally responsive to the player – even at speeds of 200mph.
• Silky-smooth gameplay with real-life graphics.
• Six modes of play, from a simple time trial to a two-player arcade, challenge, or even a full World Championship assault with a top racing team.

Disney’s Peter Pan
Format: PSOne and PS2

Two new Disney titles, Peter Pan Adventures in Never Land (PSOne) and Peter Pan – The Legend of Never Land (PS2), are sure to enchant and delight children aged between six and 10.

Players take the role of the eternally young Peter Pan as he cavorts through Never Land.

Favourite characters from both the original Peter Pan film and Disney’s Peter Pan Return to Never Land movie aid Peter in his quest to defeat the dastardly Captain Hook.

In Adventures in Never Land (PSOne), you set off with Peter Pan as he flies, searches and fights his way through five exotic Never Land locations in a quest to retrieve the five lost pieces of Captain Hook’s treasure map.

Along the way our hero encounters a number of enemies, the last of whom is none other than Captain Hook himself.

But Peter possesses secret gifts and powers, and of course has friends and allies, such as the Lost Boys.

The Legend of Never Land (PS2) is a swashbuckling third-person action adventure, in which Peter Pan has a fight on his hands, not only to save the life of his friends, but the very fabric of Never Land itself.

Features include:
• 24 levels in seven unique Never Land settings.
• Real-time day and night levels.
• Film clips from both Disney Peter Pan films.
