Trading hours change

The Police Club reminds its patrons about its change in trading hours.

Since April 1, 2002, the club has opened at 11am and closed at 9pm, except in cases in which functions are booked. On Saturdays, the club now opens at 11am and closes at 6pm, except in the case of a booked function.

Remember that these hours can be varied to suit the needs of YOU, our members. To arrange a get-together after work, a farewell, or any other function or gathering, just ring the bar staff and they will be happy to negotiate times.

The club is open Friday mornings

The Police Club article about breakfast in the April issue of the Police Journal seems to have caused some confusion. The club still opens at 7am as normal – but the breakfast menu is no longer available.

This change – which came into effect on April 1, 2002 – was instituted for lack of patronage.

Australia’s last police club

Are you aware that you have the last, member-owned police club in Australia? Well, it is your club! Use it.
