AirBlade
Format: PlayStation 2
This exciting new boarding game gives you the unique opportunity to defy gravity and skate through the sky.
AirBlade is a next-generation boarding game. It surpasses previous games which have limited players to a select number of conventional moves.
Combining an underground street culture feel with silky-smooth graphics, AirBlade is much more than just a skating game. Plot- and mission-based, it is an action-adventure movie where you play the hero.
Your best friend Oscar, a scientific genius has just invented a prototype hoverboard which is propelled by energy from gravitational fields.
But oil-based business interests dont like the idea of this alternative energy source putting them out of business, so they kidnap Oscar!
Its up to you with the help of your hacker friend, Kat to free Oscar from the clutches of the bad guys with the snappy suits and expense accounts. And while youre about it, you can pull off the coolest, most challenging, gravity-defying stunts youve ever seen in your life.
AirBlade is a pick up and play game its accessible for everyone, including beginners.
You can pull amazing stunts swing from lamp posts, grind along handrails and weave your way in, out and even over lines of traffic, knock down enemies, and generally scare the daylights out of the general public.
As you progress through the game, the capabilities of the board continually increase, allowing you to pull more and more spectacular tricks.
There are ten game modes in all: five single-player, four two-player and even a party-play mode for those messy late-night post-clubbing sessions.
