Market research shows highest satisfaction levels

Have you ever wondered why so many people choose to join a credit union rather than a bank?

Our recent Customer Relationship Research showed that credit unions have the highest satisfaction and recommendation levels. The survey found 79% of credit union members rate their credit union as “excellent” or “very good” compared to 27% of customers of a Big 4 bank. Similarly, 75% of credit union members state they would be “extremely” or “very likely” to recommend their credit union, versus 28% for customers of a Big 4 bank.

Credit unions also attract a very favourable image. They are strongly differentiated from other financial institutions in terms of being part of the community, having minimal fees and charges, being friendly and helpful, having competitive loan interest rates, offering more extra services, interested in more than just profits.
