Monthly Meeting
Fifty-six Retired Police Officers Association members attended their monthly meeting in the PASA building on June 7. Virtuoso organist Barry Hall entertained them with his vast variety of musical renditions. The RPOA members appreciated his performance and intend to invite him back again in the future
Trip to Monarto Zoological Park
Forty RPOA members enjoyed a very successful trip to the Monarto Zoological Park, followed by a top-class luncheon at the Dundee Restaurant. Their special guest for the day was PCU representative, Heather.
Trip to Burra
An entertaining day trip to Burra is scheduled for August 9, at a cost of $30 per head. There are still some seats available. Those who would like to go should contact the secretary or president.
Country Visit
Some RPOA committee members are visiting Victor Harbour at the end of June and look forward to meeting up with some of their country members and reminiscing.
Committee
RPOA members are invited to attend the July annual general meeting, at which office-bearers will be elected.
Picnic
The annual picnic will be held at Fort Largs on October 21. Bus transport will be arranged if sufficient numbers of members are interested.
All intending to attend the picnic are requested to notify the secretary for catering purposes. Those who are supplying their own transport are requested to bring their own chairs and card-table.
Dinner
This year's annual dinner will take place on November 22. Those wishing to attend should notify the secretary.
