National Police Remembrance Day
Seven members attended the Police Remembrance Day Memorial service at Fort Largs on September 29. RPOA president, Les Morris, laid a wreath on his members behalf.
Graduation
President Morris and four RPOA members attended the recent graduation of course 24. The troop of young probationary constables was well turned out. Four members of the Mounted Cadre escorted the parade to the rousing music of the Band of the South Australia Police.
Annual Dinner
Payments for the November 23 annual dinner are due no later than November 9.
Sick List
Our oldest and most loyal RPOA member, Hazel Millowick, is again in hospital - with a second broken hip. After being discharged from hospital, her permanent address will be Sunset Lodge, Kingswood. The RPOA wishes her well.
Entertainment
With well-performed guitar playing and singing, Gorgina and Eugene Fernandaz entertained members at the October meeting.
Glen Cox (RPOA) is in England with the Metropolitan Choir and performing at the Albert Hall, London. The choir was the only one invited to perform.
New Members
The RPOA welcomes two new members from the Riverland - Trevor Grace and Steve Slape.
Meetings
